Once we have established contact if you do not respond within 2 hours of email, phone call or text we can not help. We have organized rescue pick ups and the tortoise owner will not respond in a timely fashion. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding***

Our Services

We are working with the community to rehouse desert tortoises to a home that is best for the animal and the rescuer's. Any hay or veggies that you can donate we really appreciate. New facility coming soon!

The desert tortoise is a species of tortoise in the family Testudinidae. The species is native to the Mojave and Sonoran Deserts of the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico, and to the Sinaloan thornscrub of northwestern Mexico.

The African spurred tortoise, also called the sulcata tortoise, is an endangered species of tortoise inhabiting the southern edge of the Sahara Desert, the Sahel, in Africa.
